The Death of Hype in Email Subject Lines?

Yesterday, MarektingSherpa pointed to some research that showed some pretty interesting results. Again, if you don’t use MarketingSherpa, you should. It’s free and helpful.

The basic point – Over-hyped, slick, or sales-focused language won’t get your email opened. Strangely enough, seemingly boring subject lines did. Huh. Who woulda thought? 😉
